Owner: Bonnie Lemos
From the time she was 10, Bonnie dreamed of owning a horse ranch, and now she is living her dream. Finding a place in Loomis has made Bonnie happy because of the warm welcome from the Loomis community.
“The slower-paced small-town feel and warmness of the town of Loomis is a breath of fresh air.”
A note from Bonnie: I love the Loomis community and horses! Stables at Willow Creek is my dream come true and I want to share it with you. Call us at 916-693-3737 with questions or to schedule a tour.
Ranch Manager, Trainer, Farrier: Ron Johnson
Trainer: Emily Bomgardner
Emily started taking riding lessons more than a decade ago, which very quickly turned into a passion and the purchase of her first horse, Annie. Annie allowed her to ride and show in both English and Western events as a young girl. She then made her way to local show barns where she took the opportunity to work with, train and ride a variety of horses. She then attended The University of Findlay where she graduated with degrees in Equine Western Training, Animal Science and Business Management and is currently working towards her MBA. Findlay provided learning opportunities from top trainers in the Quarter Horse and Paint Horse Industries. She also worked closely with guest instructors such as Ryan Cottingham, Brent Tincher, Shawn Flarida and Stacy Westfall, just to name a few. After graduation she worked as a trainer at several facilities, and began a successful youth riding program for all levels, ages and disciplines of riders.
A note from Emily: I am excited to start working with Stables at Willow Creek and offer my knowledge to the community!
