Owner: Bonnie Lemos
From the time she was 10, Bonnie dreamed of owning a horse ranch, and now she is living her dream. Finding a place in Loomis has made Bonnie happy because of the warm welcome from the Loomis community.
“The slower-paced small-town feel and warmness of the town of Loomis is a breath of fresh air.”
A note from Bonnie: I love the Loomis community and horses! Stables at Willow Creek is my dream come true and I want to share it with you. Call us at 916-693-3737 with questions or to schedule a tour.
Ranch Manager, Trainer, Farrier: Ron Johnson
Ron coordinates the day-to-day oversight of staff and the ranch. He handles special feedings, turnouts and repairs to the ranch and equipment. Ron will be in charge of pasture maintenance, water flow and general facilities maintenance. He is also the ranch farrier and will coordinate with boarders for trims and shoeing for all disciplines.
Training and disciplines: Do you have a horse that has discipline issues, moves away from you when you saddle, invades your personal space, does not like to be touched or needs to be broke? If so, Ron is the trainer for you. He has more than 15 years of experience with these types of troubled horses. Disciplines include, western pleasure and green horses.
A note from Ron: I specialize in older horses, troubled horses and minis. I graduated from The Texas Horse Shoeing School in 2007 and have been working large horse ranches in The Bay Area and Nevada since graduation. I also provide training for both students and horses. Tune ups for horses that haven’t been ridden for a while, basic ground work and proper riding techniques for all levels of students. I feel all horses can have their issues worked out no matter what the issue may be.
He can provide horse safety, lessons for proper seat and leg positions and trailer loading. Please call (916)693-3737 for a meet and greet with Ron , or call Ron directly at (408)307-7837 with questions or to make an appointment.
